The fixture provides 100% glare-free light. The geometrical, spherical design is based on the principle of illuminating all surfaces at the same angle. This ensures uniform light around the fixture, illuminating both walls and ceiling. Matt painted undersurfaces and glossy top surfaces result in an attractive reflection of the diffused light, creating uniform light distribution around the fixture.

Suspended from high quality stainless steel aircraft cable
High lustre chrome plated spun aluminium housing

Socket (incandescent): Porcelain, mogul base, for PS-35 clear envelope lamps (Europe only).
Socket position is adjustable to allow correct lamp position and fixture illumination (Europe only).

LED enclosure: Custom-designed injection molded high-transmittance polycarbonate enclosure with internal reflector for proper illumination of shades.
LED thermally managed by system of 2 heatsinks, one cast aluminum and the other extruded aluminum.
Upper heatsink with center open channel to maximum heat transferral to atmosphere.
Three heat pipes efficiently transfer heat energy between heatsinks.
