The Long Island seating system is easily recognized by the design of the armrest that is slightly set back from the 111 cm deep seat cushions – that are available with goose-down padding with core insert in crushproof material, or in polyurethane and Dacron, allowing for an especially comfortable and relaxed position. The base of the sofa was specifically designed to accommodate handy tray tables whose minimalist lines are enhanced by upscale cowhide upholstery. The “L” section of the tray tables echoes that of the metal feet, available in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome or champagne finish, or upholstered in leather to match the tray tables. The Long Island 05 version features hidden feet.
