This seemingly simple, almost ordinary-looking chair ‒ yet rich in details, thanks to the meticulous workmanship ‒ embodies all of the ancient art of cabinetmaking.

The design is stripped down to the bare bones: four legs in solid wood turned and finished by hand, a single half-moon shaped element that joins the backrest and armrests to a hand-woven cord seat.

The Doris chair elevates all the qualities of solid wood: a warm, flexible material, sanded until smooth to the touch.
